Carmen Pang
I am a licensed pharmacist in Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta with a distinguished career that spans multiple facets of pharmacy practice. I hold an MPharm from the University of Hertfordshire (UK) and successfully completed the PEBCs to become licensed in Ontario. Building on this foundation, I earned a post-graduate PharmD from the University of Toronto, which provided me with advanced clinical skills and opportunities to practice in pediatrics, general medicine, and health informatics.
I began my career in community pharmacy and quickly advanced to a leadership role at Shoppers Drug Mart’s Central Pharmacy Services. As Team Lead, I managed a team of pharmacists in the Remote Verification Program and contributed to patient support programs like PC Health. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I played a critical role in coordinating immunization and Paxlovid initiatives in Durham and in collaboration with Michael Garron Hospital.
Currently, I specialize in specialty medicine, which has been a deeply rewarding area of practice. My extensive experience has allowed me to make significant contributions to patient care and pharmacy operations.
In addition to my clinical achievements, I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of pharmacists. I have had the privilege of mentoring students, internationally trained pharmacists, and newly licensed professionals, helping them navigate the complexities of the field and achieve their professional goals. I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge and experiences to shape the future leaders of pharmacy.
