Nada Jawad
As an International Pharmacy Graduate (IPG), my transition into the Canadian healthcare system was challenging, but my determination and confidence in my abilities were instrumental in achieving success. In 2012, my hard work culminated in becoming a licensed Part A pharmacist in Ontario, a significant milestone in my career.
Since then, I have accumulated extensive experience by working with several esteemed pharmacies, including Windsor Clinical Pharmacy, Health Trust Pharmacy, and Lifestyle Pharmacy. My diverse professional background has enriched my understanding of the pharmacy landscape in Canada.
Beyond my work in pharmacies, I have had the privilege of mentoring numerous new immigrants and internationally trained professionals who are navigating their own transitions into the Canadian healthcare system. My ongoing engagement with the community and commitment to staying informed is demonstrated through my participation in regional and provincial bodies, such as the Canadian Health Network and the National Association of Board of Pharmacy (NABP).
My experiences have equipped me with valuable insights and skills, allowing me to effectively mentor others. I am passionate about supporting individuals in overcoming challenges and achieving their professional goals, providing them with guidance and encouragement throughout their journeys.
