Tamer Eid
After eight years of practicing hospital pharmacy across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain, I relocated to Canada in 2010, seeking new professional challenges and opportunities. By 2011, I had successfully obtained my pharmacist license in British Columbia and began working with several esteemed institutions, including the primary care at a tertiary mental health facility, and hospital pharmaciesl. My work has allowed me to develop close relationships with outpatients, providing them with personalized care and expert guidance.
In addition to my general pharmacy work, I have cultivated a deep interest in mental health, which led me to take on a clinical pharmacist role within a tertiary mental health facility. In this capacity, I collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and allied healthcare teams, contributing to the holistic care of patients within Fraser Health's mental health network.
My extensive experience in various healthcare settings has equipped me with a broad skill set that I am eager to share with others. I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of pharmacists, offering them the insights and guidance needed to navigate their careers successfully in both general and specialized fields of pharmacy.
